How do I upload documents for my client to view?
You can upload additional documents for your clients to access, those not pulled directly from your accounting software. These documents can also be organized into custom folders for better management and accessibility.
Uploading Documents

From the left-hand menu, select Documents.

Click Upload Documents in the top-right corner of the documents table.

In the upload window, either:

Drag and drop files directly into the upload area, or

Click Browse to locate and upload files from your computer.

Once uploaded, your documents will appear in the Documents table.
Assigning Documents to Clients
You can assign uploaded documents to specific clients or make them visible to all clients.

Go to the Documents tab.

Locate the file in the Documents table.

Under the Customers column, select the drop-down list.

Choose the client you want to assign the document to.
Tip: If you want all clients to access a document, select the option to make it available in all client portals.
Organizing Documents into Custom Folders
To keep your documents organized, you can assign them to custom folders.

First, create and name a custom folder.

Navigate back to the Documents tab.

Find the document you want to organize.

Under the Folders column, select the desired folder from the drop-down list.
Your document will now appear under the chosen folder, making it easy for you, and your clients, to locate it quickly.
